Montecristo is one of the most iconic brands in the world. Here are some of the newer releases, all of which are bolder in strength and much different than the typical mild Montecristo. Select from the classics or mix/match with the new brands; the entire Montecristo line will be discounted during the event!
Espada by Montecristo –The newest release is the Espada, Montecristo’s first Nicaraguan puro. It is a new collaboration between the company’s Grupo de Maestros and the Plasencia family. The wrapper is a Habano Jalapa Vintage 2010, while the binder is a 2009 vintage. The filler is comprised of Habano Jalapa seco, Habano Ometepe viso and Habano ligero from Condega, all 2008 vintage. The result is a rich, complex body, and overall great smoke!
Monte by Montecristo –Rated the #9 Cigar of 2014 by Cigar Aficionado with 93 points, this cigar is medium+ to full-bodied thanks to two binders: a spicy Dominican Olor combined with a strong and aromatic Nicaraguan Corojo to add strength, firmness and complexity, and an aged Dominican filler and Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. Montecristo Epic –The Epic is fuller-bodied than other Montecristos and has a robust blend of complex flavors. This cigar has a select Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and select vintage Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos from as early as 2007. A nice change & great choice!
Montecristo Connoisseur’s Collection –The Montecristo Connoisseur offers a series of regional releases that pays tribute to cities across America. With each of the respective cities in mind, each cigar has been crafted around the style and vibe of each. The Collection Edition Box of 8 includes: (2) Montecristo New York (6×60) -Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, Dominican filler;
